| At 11:59pm on the 5th of January 2009 'KALANG LU LU' foaled a very special little black filly, lovely long legs and a Stunning head. A certain keeper, little 'SHANAMON QUEEN OF HARTE'S" will be out and about next season. 'SHANUSTI HALF A PENNY' Foaled a beautiful little black colt 28th December 2008. Penny wasn't due for a few weeks but surprised everyone with 'SHANAMON HARTELESS'. Only very tiny just like his full brother 'SHANAMON HOUDINI' Harteless will certainly stay well under height, Harteless is for sale. (please view sales page) 'LLANFAIRBRYN HARLEQUIN' Has been sold to a young girl where he can be enjoyed to his full potential. Harls is still recovering from his 'Operation' but will leave for his new home soon. Harls went to the beach the other day to help the healing, and loved every minute of it. We would like to thank Darrell, Pauline & Bob Owen for parting with the lovely young colt 'OWENDALE THEO'. Theo will make his show debut in SA in 2009. The Multi Supreme winning 'LLANFAIRBRYN HARLEQUIN' has been gelded. Harley will be shown as a gelding and hopefully can continue on with his enormous show success and venture into the next part of his life.... 'SHANAMON HOUDINI' had been sold earlier in the year to Glenmarvi Stud as a show pony and future stud stallion, and had moved to his new home at Murray Bridge, more than 3 hours away from us.... When Harry was only a few months old he & his mum were to go into the paddock with the other broodmares & Pop (Shanusti Harte). Mum had a feeling and didn't want him out there, the next morning we woke to dogs attacking Pop & the girls. A lucky escape for harry. Harry is still not yet a yearling going by his birthday but on the 4th of November 2008 we got a phone call from Sandra to tell us poor little harry had just been attacked by Bull Terriers !!!!! Poor Harry had suffered the same fate as his father but only being 8 months old and lucky to be 50cm he had no chance, the dogs took his ear and his ear drum. He now only has one ear, is deaf and has lost his balance. Only time will tell how little Harry will go. Once again the dogs are left to roam free and the Owner of the pony has NO RIGHTS !! Below are photos of little harry and the damage these dogs have caused. Further down is Pop and his photos. We have 5 stallions at stud for the 2008/2009 season. Our Australian Pony colt 'KOOYONG LEONARDO', only just turned 3, we eagerly await Leo's first foals in 2009. The Shetland Stallions, 'SHANUSTI HARTE' , 'SHANUSTI DRUMMER BOY' & 'SHANUSTI MOZART' are also at stud,Our new shetland stallion will also be at stud to limited mares. All four shetland stallions carrying exceptional bloodlines and proven sires, Moe (Shanusti Mozart) currently making his debut show season at 18 years old !!!!! Bongo (Shanusti Drummer Boy) better watch himself, he's still a spring chicken at 16 (hehe) and may make it to a show or two yet....... We welcome home 'STRINGYBARK HOLLY' from Jusine Wake in Victoria, Holly has been missed since we sold her and we thank Justine for parting her. Holly came home in foal and had a lovely little pally filly (full sibling to 'SHANAMON HARLAN').... 'SHANAMON TRICK OR TREAT' is able to be viewed on our foals page. Holly will be put in foal to one of our stallions for a 2009 baby. |

On the 20th of March 2008, SHANUSTI HARTE was attacked by three dogs as he tried to keep his girls safe, not one mare had a mark on her and old Harte wore the full brunt of the attack. |
